Level 3 Diploma qualified cycle mechanic based in Wivenhoe, all service prices are excluding parts all parts charged at RRP. 

To book a service please email,  text or book through our on line booking service, drop off is on the day of service,  if this is not possible then Monday/Thursday evenings (through prior arrangement). 

Bronze Service


Complete bike safety check.Your bike inspected ensuring it is safe for you to ride.

Drive chain & other moving parts checked for wear & lubricated.
Tyres checked for wear and inflated.
Brakes and gears adjusted ensuring your bike is running efficiently.


Recommended (great for a tune up or pre race or event)

Silver Service


Includes the basic service, with the of the removal of the drivetrain (crank-set, cassette, derailleurs & chain for a soak and deep clean.

An opportunity to replace worn parts / fit new parts as required.


Recommended  (Every 6 months keeping your bike in tip top condition)

Gold Service 


Perform the pre service inspection and report our findings to you

    True the wheels/assess spoke tensions

 Adjust the wheel hubs to eliminate play/reduce bearing load for smoother rotation

  Inspect tyre condition/inflate tyres to correct pressure

Adjust headset bearing to eliminate play/reduce bearing load for smoother operation

Measure chain wear and inspect drivetrain for wear/damage

 Remove, Clean and carefully lubricate drivetrain, mechs brake calipers (cleaning an excessively dirty drivetrain carries an additional         charge –save yourself some cash and give it a wash before bringing it in if it looks solid grease)

 Inspect brake cable condition, adjust brake cable tension, align brake pads/callipers

 Inspect gear cable condition, remove and clean front and rear derailleur, check/adjust derailleur hanger alignment and front and rear       derailleur 

 Perform set up of gears – a thorough, complete and methodical process is followed

   Check for play/wear in suspension linkages (full suspension bikes only)

Increase/decrease as appropriate the bottom bracket bearing preload (where possible)

 Ensure all components are secured to manufacturer’s recommended torque

Polish frame

 Test ride to ensure everything operates beautifully. 


Recommended  Every 12-18 dependant on use (this will retire your bike mechanically to its former glory) 

 I will advise on any additional work or parts that may be required before any work is carried out. these are just the service packages we can carry out any bespoke service require
